Doesn't Fit? Dont Like It? Don't Worry!

We understand that there are times when you receive items that they may need to be exchanged for a different size, colour or even a different product. You may also have decided that you no longer want or need them.

Our hassle free Returns Policy allows you to return your online order for a refund within 10 days of your receipt and exchange within 28 days. Please refer to our full Returns Policy below for more detail.

Please note: This refund and exchange policy is for online transactions only and does not cover store purchases.

How To Return Your Order

We hope you’ll love every Base Fashion purchase you make, but if you ever need to return an item for an exchange or refund, you can do so easily in a number of ways.

Please email at returns@basefashion.co.uk or call 0208 551 3453 to let our Customer Services Team know of your intention to return an order. This way, If you would like an exchange, we will try to reserve the item(s) for you.





1. Return By Post For A Refund

In accordance with the distance selling regulations from the Office Of Fair Trading, we offer a no quibble refund policy provide goods are received by us within 10 days of your receipt of the goods.

1. Please fill out the enclosed returns form with the relavent information to let us know that you would like a refund. Click here to dowload a copy of the Returns Form

2. Package your returns carefully, ensuring each item is in it's original condition with all labels attached. Shoes must be in their original, undamaged box as it is considered part of the item.

3. Send the item(s) back to us at the address below by Recorded Delivery and retain a proof of postage.

4. We will refund the value of your returned purchase to your payment card and your will recieve an email confirming your refund within 2-3 days. Please note it can take a few more days for your bank to complete the refund, depending on their processing time.

5. If you cannot return the goods within the limits above e-mail us immediately and we will try to assist you. We need a record of this notice if we are to extend the deadline.

2. Return By Post For An Exchange Or Credit

You can exchange your order for another item or e-wallet credit withing 28 days. Please e-mail returns@basefashion.co.uk or call 0208 551 3453 to let our Customer Services Team know of your exchange so we can try to reserve the item(s) for you.

4. You are responsible for the cost of postage to return your exchange to us, however we will not charge you P&P to send your first exchange out to you. Subsequent exchanges from the same order will be charged at our standard P&P rate of £3.95.

5. If you cannot decide on what you would like to exchange for right away, we can provide you with an e-wallet credit. An e-wallet credit acts as an online credit note which you can use towards your next purchase with us online. If would like an e-wallet credit, we will credit the value of your purchase to your online account with us. E-wallet credits do not expire and can be redeemed towards your next purchase with us online by logging on to your account on our site.


3. Return To Your Nearest Store For An Exchange Or Refund

You can now returns items to your local Base branch for an exchange with 28 days of delivery. Please take your invoice with you as proof of purchase. Refunds cannot be issued in-stores however, the store will be able to collect your package to send to our offices where the refund will be issued onto the original payment card. Items for refunds must be received in store with 10 days of delivery.

Faulty Or Incorrect Goods

Firstly, our apologies if you have received an item that is incorrect or faulty. We want all our customers to receive top quality goods so if you think there is a fault with an item you have received, you can return the item back to us to assess. If your item is deemed faulty upon inspection, we will either provide a full refund including any postage costs or replace the item (subject to availability) as requested by you as soon as possible upon receipt of your return.

International Orders

We are happy to refund order from our international customers within 28 days of receipt. International orders do not qualify for free exchange P&P and must be paid for before the goods to be exchanged can be sent. Please contact us to arrange the additional payment before you send your order back to us.


Returns Policy Terms and Conditions

The cost of returning the parcel is the customers responsibility. If you would like an exchange, replacement item(s) will be sent to you free of charge for the first exchange only.


If your order originally qualified for free postage and you return part of that order for a refund, your card will be refunded by the amount of the returned item(s) minus any delivery costs that you would have originally incurred should your remaining order value fall below our Free Postage threshold.

For reasons of health and hygiene, we cannot offer refunds on underwear.

We reserve the right to refuse or accept returned items that we believe are not in their original condition. This does not affect your statutory rights.

Base Fashion do not take responsibility for items lost in transit, so please use a secure service and retain prrof of postage.

Our website returns policy applies to purchases made on-line only and items purchased in store must be returned to the store.
