Lacoste

Lacoste was founded in 1933 by Rene Lacoste and Andre Gillier, where they produced the revolutionary Lacoste tennis shirt which sported the now famous crocodile logo on its chest. This is claimed by Lacoste to be the first time a brand name appeared on the outside of a garment, a trend that seems to have caught on quite well.
